A Navy and Gold Affair

It's like the two were destined to be together.

If you know anything about me, you probably know that I'm obsessed with navy. Well....not obsessed I should say...well yes, actually obsessed. It's clean, subtle, warm yet cool, modern yet classic. 

It seems like more and more each day, we are incorporating small hints of gold shimmer to add that final flare to that special outfit, project or tablescape. 

well...I'm down with that!

I'm Baaaaaack

Well folks, after a year and some change hiatus from the blog world (unintentionally, of course), I am happy to say I'm back! Que the typical "work has been crazy; this year has been hectic; I haven't had time!" etc, etc.

Not much as changed since the good ole October 2012:

I'm still working with my best friends. Oh and we recently had Friendsgiving!

I did however accumulate a liking for a few things! I somehow learned how to cook (thanks, Pioneer Woman!),  learned how to use various tools and hardware thanks to several Pinterest projects and I've learned how to drive OTP every weekend and now claw my eyes out :-)

whether it's holding your drinks, books or feet, ottomans 

are a multifunctional staple in the home.

lucky for us, they no longer need to be the boring, stiff leathered 

pieces that we often think of.

Monday Thoughts

So stemming off of a weekend bachelorette party in Charleston, SC for my girl, Amanda Cheek, today wasn't exactly a day of productivity. I did, however, come up with a list of my day dreams, in which I titled "Morgan's Monday Home Decor Thoughts"

Mellow Yellow

another day, another obsession.

since i'm more of a "blue, green, purple" kind of girl, yellow is the perfect step to enter the world of warm tones
